› How do I order?
Add models to your cart, reserve them, and submit your order. Reserving holds the exact pieces for you. You’ll get a confirmation, then pay — how you pay and receive depends on whether you’re in the UAE or Pakistan (see How it works).
› UAE — how do I pay and collect?
Transfer the full amount to our account and upload the proof from your account. Then pick up from my home in Dubai, or meet me at a Saturday swap meet. Online payment, Tabby instalments and courier delivery are coming soon.
› Pakistan — how does shipping and payment work?
Orders to Pakistan ship in bulk batches, not one by one. You pay 50% up front to lock your order into the next batch, and the remaining 50% once your items arrive in Pakistan. Prices don’t include local delivery within Pakistan.
› Can I order more than one of the same model?
Yes. On the item page use the quantity selector (or add it to your cart again) up to however many are in stock.
› Which currencies can I pay in?
Prices are shown in AED and PKR — you pick which to pay in at checkout.
› What does “reserved” mean?
The exact unit is held for you the moment you reserve — it stops being available to anyone else, so you won’t lose it while you sort out payment.
› Do prices include delivery?
UAE pickup and swap-meet meetups are free. Local delivery within Pakistan is not included in the price. Courier options for the UAE are coming soon.
› What is My Garage?
A private space to log everything you own — add pieces one by one, or bulk-upload with the Excel template. Value your collection, track it over time, and choose whether to keep it private or share it.
› What is the Trade Board?
Mark pieces for trade and connect directly with other collectors. It’s free — DISMO79 charges nothing, isn’t a party to any trade, and takes no responsibility for authenticity, condition, payment or delivery. Please read the Community Guidelines and trade at your own risk.
› Leaderboards, badges and sharing?
Earn trophies as your collection grows, opt into public leaderboards, and share a summary of your garage with other collectors. All opt-in — nothing is public until you choose.
› Wishlists — will I be told when something’s back in stock?
Yes. Add a catalog model to your wishlist and you’ll get an in-app notification when it’s restocked. Email alerts and custom requests are coming later.
› Are the photos real?
We’re adding real photos of each piece. Where a photo isn’t up yet you’ll see a branded placeholder — the model is genuine and in hand.
› Do you do pre-orders?
Not yet — only in-stock items are available for now. Pre-ordering is coming, so you’ll be able to reserve models before they land.
› Something looks off — who do I tell?
DISMO79 is new and still in testing, so please allow a margin of error. If something’s wrong or could be better, email admin@dismo79.com.
